Well thats a lot of weight, and fast isn’t much time.
My advice: cut most of fat and sodium out of your diet.
Drink 10 cups of water a day, as this speeds your metabolism.
Go running 3 days a week, or any other type of cardio. Then yoga once a week.
Make sure you do not resort to anything drastic. Keep it healthy and spread out, don’t rush to it or it won’t do anything. Good luck!

It took me 5 months to lose that much weight on a 1200 calorie a day diet and exercising an hour a day plus walking everywhere I went. I was told I lost it too fast, but so far I have kept it off and I cannot even run now because of a torn meniscus. Good luck!

There is no way to lose weight fast. You didn’t put it on fast, so it will take time to lose it. You have a long road ahead of you, so I would join a website to help you stay focused. If you’re between 13 and 17, join http://www.sparkteens.com. This is a website designed for teens to help you track your calories and stay motivated to lose. You can connect with other teens who are also trying to lose weight and learn what’s working for them. If you’re 18 or over, join http://www.myfitnesspal.com. This is a site like Spark Teens, but for adults.

In order to lose weight, it’s going to be 80% diet and 20% exercise, so you should focus on what you eat first. Cut way back on junk food, fried food and fast food. Those things are all high in fat and calories. If you cut back on calories and eat healthy things (vegetables, whole wheat pasta, fruits, nuts, low fat cheese, plain greek yogurt with berries, chicken breasts, turkey, tuna, etc.), this will cause you to lose weight.

Exercising will help you lose weight faster than if you don’t Do something fun so it doesn’t seem like work. Ride your bike, take your dog for a walk (or a friend/neighbor’s dog), jump rope, do push ups or squats, dance around the house, etc. There are plenty of workout videos for free on YouTube. You want to elevate your heart for at least 30 minutes at a time, 4-5 times a week. Start slow and work your way up. Drink lots of water!

Making healthier food choices and getting in some exercise will absolutely make you lose weight. It’s not going to happen overnight though. Don’t waste your time on fad diets or starving yourself because neither of those work. Be patient and stick to it. If you change the way you eat now, you’ll NEVER have to worry about being overweight again for the rest of you life. Imagine how nice that will feel.
