  1. It’s simple. You don’t know it, but you really don’t want to be famous at 13. You’ll grow up and really have something to say when you’re 22 but nobody will take you seriously because you used to sing about 13 year old stuff. So you don’t have to lose weight all that fast. Eat high fiber and protein breakfasts every day and be active.

  2. There is no easy way to lose so much weight, and it cannot be done healthily in a very short abount of time, despite what any one tells you.Weight can most effectively be lost through a regimen of (healthy) food eaten in small portions combined with daily exercise to burn off more calories. Truth be told, you burn off a majority of your body’s daily calorie usage simply by being alive, breathing and maintaining body temperature, etc. The amount of calories your body uses in a normal day is called your maintenance level. If you consume this many calories and do not exercise, then your weight will stay the same. What you want to do is get your calorie intake to be SUB-maintenance level, where you burn more calories than you take in. This is the only way to lose weight. There are online calculators to roughly determine your body’s maintenance level.

You will need to engage in some type of aerobic exercises every day; it will increase the amount of calories your body burns, and will help you to achieve your goal of sub-maintenance. It is good that you dance, because this will help yuo burn calories. I prefer aerobic exercise that is not “high-impact” on your joints (like running can be), and will often bike, swim, or use an ellipitcal machine (the one you described as push w/ arms and move feet) instead.

As for food, eat a lot of lean meat (chicken, fish, etc.), fruits/veggies, etc. Try to stay away from carbs, especially the “empty kind” (chips, white rice, white bread, etc.) Don’t drink anything but water and SKIM milk if you like it, but remember that everything has to be in small portions. Alcohol (especially beer) is your worst, worst, worst, enemy. This might be tough if you usually drink and have friends who drink, but believe me, it can make all the difference.

Now losing a significant amount of weight in such a short amount of time is going to be very tough, not to mention possibly unhealthy. If you are extremely strict with your diet and routine, then *maybe* it is a possibility, but I wouldn’t gnecessarily et your hopes up. it CAN be done though, and if you are truly dedicated, you can do it. Just take it slow and be consistent, and the weight will come off. It might take a bit longer than you want, but you will definitely notice a big difference in a matter of a few weeks if you really stick with it. The hardest part about losing weight is that it’s all up to you, remember that.

I would recommend consulting a doctor or other medical professional for further advisement. Good luck!

  4. Loosing weight fast is always an unhealthy thing.
There are many diets who tell you that you can loose a lot of weight in no time. And it is working, but you are doing no good to your body. And there’s also the Jojo-effect.
The best thing to loose and hold a healthy weight is healthy food, less sugar, lots of drinking water, and sports.
Diet has to begin in your head. And you already started to think about your nutrition. That’s an important step. It is too easy just to make a magazine-diet for 2-3 weeks and loose some weight. But it will come back soon again. If you are over-thinking your nutrition and activity, you will have a constantly good result. Isn’t that much better and healthier than a crash-diet ?
